— WELCOME

We are here to help you to discover your potential

Whilst built on the foundations of a qualification pathway, the FIH Official Education framework is fundamentally about Officials development. It aims to provide opportunities for open mindset Officials to discover, observe, learn and grow, whether through an e-learning or 3hr online workshop or a 1-2 year course.

— What we BELIEVE

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to develop officials who are able to facilitate environments in which athletes, umpires and competition organisers can perform and deliver to their very best.

Officials should be able to develop their ability to recognise multiple options, make appropriate task decisions, and complete those tasks with technical competence.

We believe that possessing a knowledge and application of technical and social skills will enable officials to add value to the game.
  • Have a growth mindset
  • Enable athletes, umpires & organisers to perform
  • Challenge with knowledge
  • Encourage and Inspire
