Terms and Conditions

By registering for an FIH Academy event* you are agreeing with these terms & conditions:

1. * Definitions
An FIH Academy event includes any online, e-learning or face to face course, workshop or other activity where a fee is payable to attend. N.b. Free events are not subject to these terms and conditions.

2. Cancellations
• Cancellations are permitted within 24 hours of registration and up to 14 days prior the start of the course subject to the following terms:
• Cancellations up to and including 40 days prior to the event start date will be refunded in full (any unrecoverable charges such as payment gateway or credit card fees will be deducted from the refund).
• Cancellations between and including 39 and 15 days prior to the event start date will be refunded at 50% of the event fee paid.
• Cancellations within and including 14 days of the event start date will not be refunded.
• In extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of the FIH Academy, cancellations may be accepted within 14 days of the event date and a credit note issued for use against a future event. The value of the credit note will be determined on a case-by-case basis according to costs and time incurred by the FIH Academy.
• In all cases, cancellations, refunds or credit of any kind are not allowed 5 months after the payment date.

3. Personal Data
The personal details you used to register for membership/events are protected under the current Swiss regulations on data protection. Please also refer to the FIH Privacy Policy.

4. Recording of Events
Online events and some elements of face-to-face events will be recorded for the purpose of Educator training, course promotion and resource development.

5. Event Materials
No event recordings, videos, images, or other resources may be shared publicly or used for commercial purposes without the written permission of the FIH Academy.
