About this Course
The FIH Academy Level 1 Coach Award is designed for coaches, teachers and volunteers aged 16+ wanting to start coaching at a foundation level.

This course is integrated in to the FIH World Hockey Camp, providing an ideal opportunity for candidates to learn and practice in a live environment. Candidates will be considered as part of the Futures Sports Staff Team for the duration of the course, but will be mentored by an FIH Educator throughout.
An induction session will take place on Sunday 13 July from 7pm to 9pm for residential AND day candidates. Other sessions will take place between 9am and 5pm from Monday 14 July to Thursday 17 July - day candidates may depart at 5pm on these days. Evening sessions and attendance on Friday 18 July are for residential candidates only.
Included in your booking fee:
Day & Residential: FIH Academy registration fee, course delivery fee, FIH/Futures Coach shirt, certification & lunch (Mon-Thurs).
Residential: As above plus breakfast (Mon-Fri), Dinner (Mon-Thurs), accommodation (twin or single) for 5 nights (Sun-Fri).

Our L1C consists of 5 days of face 2 face interactive coach development sessions with up to 12 participants and 2 FIH Educators.
