This 3 hour online workshop will be led by an FIH Educator and explores the psychological side of goalkeeping. Understand the factors that influence goalkeepers and consider how to communicate effectively.

This interactive workshop is suitable for anyone who interacts with a goalkeeper, whether that be goalkeeper or outfield coaches, teachers or parents. No prior knowledge or qualification is required.

Face2Face Format

This workshop consists of 3hrs of an online session with up to 30 participants and an FIH Educator & support coaches.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, we hope you are able to:
  • Identify the sphere of influence of a goalkeeper
  • Understand the individual nature of goalkeeping and the different roles a goalkeeper may play
  • Have more transparent conversations with your goalkeeper(s)
